Zahir Quettawala Cyber Security Strategist

Biography

Zahir Quettawala has 23+ years of practice in Cyber and Information Security with strategy planning, compliance, operations, risk and project management experience; across different sectors including financial services, government, retail, manufacturing, logistic and energy. Currently, he is working as senior cyber security risk practioner with Telstra InfraCo.

Zahir has a passion for education and has trained more than 12000+ professionals over the period of 20 years. He has authored several textbooks, developed curriculums, written professional exam papers for various institutes, universities and professional organizations.

Zahir is also an accredited information security trainer for CISA, CISM and CRISC certifications by Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He is also working with Wyndham Tech School, one of ten Tech Schools in Victoria, hosted by Victoria University (VU) on its Werribee Campus to develop Cyber Security curriculum for high school students.
