Biography
Dr. Xufeng Lin is currently a Research Fellow of the School of Information Technology at Deakin University. His research interests include multimedia forensics, smart video surveillance and big data analytics. He has published more than ten papers in top-ranked journals and international conferences. He received the Best Paper Award from the 15th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Video and Signal-based Surveillance in 2018. He involved actively in international collaborations. Seconded by the Computer Vision Enabled Multimedia Forensics and People Identification (IDENTITY) project through EU Horizon 2020 – Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, he was a Marie Curie Research Fellow in Research Centre of Multimedia Information Security Detection and Intelligent Processing at the South China University of Technology in May-July 2016. He was also a visiting researcher in Multimedia Signal Processing and Security Lab at the University of Salzburg in May 2015, funded by European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) Action IC1106.
