Praveen Gauravaram Senior Scientist at Tata Consultancy Services

Biography

Praveen Gauravaram is a Senior Scientist at Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS), Australia & New Zealand (ANZ). Praveen primarily leads TCS’s Co-Innovation (COIN) Partnership with Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre (Cyber Security CRC) in Australia by actively engaging with global TCS’s stakeholders including Business Units, COIN, Research & Innovation (R & I), Legal & Compliance, Commercialisation and Cyber Security Practice. In this role, Praveen also works closely with the industry, academia and government partners of Cyber Security CRC and presents TCS’s thought leadership and R & I in cyber security. At TCS ANZ, Praveen has been influential in cyber security pre-sales, marketing, and innovation branding activities. 
 
Praveen has a PhD in Cryptology from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia and has held scientific positions in India, Europe and Australia. He was a recipient of research grants and awards whist his research fellowship at Technical University of Denmark. Notably, Praveen was a recipient of young elite researcher award in 2010 from the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation. Praveen has more than fifty research publications with h-index of 17 and consulting advisories in cryptology and cyber security.
