Biography
Phil is a practising lawyer and one of Australia’s leading forensic technology practitioners.
Previously a member of the Australian Federal Police for 17 years, he has worked on some of Australia’s largest investigations, inquiries and prosecutions. His unique combination of policing and criminal investigation experience, forensic expertise and legal practice enables him to offer clients a complete service package.
Phil assists clients with privacy advice, data protection, drafting agreements, regulatory compliance and technology law related matters, and leads Corrs Forensics, which offers clients fully integrated evidence-gathering services for investigations into IP theft, fraud and corporate crime, compliance, data breach incident response, workplace incidents and more. He is also a member of Corrs Cyber, our coordinated legal, forensic and cyber offering featuring a multidisciplinary team of experts.
Phil has a Master of Information Systems Security and a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor). He is a Certified Computer Examiner, a Certified Forensic Analyst and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. He is also certified as a technical assessor in electronic evidence with the National Association of Testing Authorities.
