Biography

Eshan Dissanayake is a Senior Information Security & Technology Risk professional with extensive experience in managing operational teams as well as delivering strategic outcomes. Eshan has over 15 years’ experience in Information Security and over 30 years’ experience in Information Technology in Finance, Banking & Retail sectors in Australia and New Zealand.

Eshan is currently the Head of Digital Security for the Coles Group, one of Australia’s leading retail organisations with more than 106,000 team members and over 2,100 stores nationwide. He is accountable for all aspects of Digital Security for Coles Group.

Eshan is a qualified “Certified Information Security Manager” (CISM) & holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Eshan is a board member of the Melbourne Joint Cyber Security Centre (JCSC) and a member of the Executive Advisory Board of both Australian Information Security Association (AISA) and Deakin University – Cyber Security Research and Innovation Centre.
