Berin Lautenbach Global Head of Information Security at Toll Group

Biography

Berin Lautenbach is the Global Head of Information Security at Toll Group and has an extensive and diverse background in Cyber Security spanning over 25 years. Berin loves the big cyber security challenges and bringing together a team of great minds to protect customer and corporate data and the systems that run an enterprise.

Prior to joining Toll, Berin was the Chief Information Security Officer – AsiaPac at Telstra where he led the cyber security team that secured the Telstra network. Previous roles have included leading the Information Security team in GE Capital Australia followed by setting up and leading the Security Architecture team for GE Capital globally.

Berin has been involved in projects covering a wide range of security technologies such as intrusion detection, application security and malware control, to name just a few. Berin worked for a number of organisations including the Department of Defence Australia, Dimension Data, National Australia Bank, GE and Telstra, before joining Toll in 2020.
