CSRI academic recognised in The Australian’s 2021 Research Magazine
The Australian’s 2021 Research Magazine acknowledges the talent and dedication of the country’s top academics.
CSRI congratulates researcher, Dr Luxing Yang, who has been recognised among Australia’s top 40 early career researchers. The list highlights researchers to watch in the next few years because – on their record so far – they are likely to make an even greater impact in the next decade.
Dr Yang is interested in the development of parameterized defensive strategies against attacks through game-theoretic reasoning in the presence of intelligent interaction between attackers and cyber systems. In the future, he would like to combine game theory with machine learning to investigate the emerging attacks in critical infrastructures.
To identify the top 40 early career researchers, The Australian used a methodology based on the annualized H-index, a measure that considers both the volume of research output, as well as impact.
